The Internet is for Lunatics

The Internet is for Lunatics
Corrupted science.

In a recent post, Substack management patted themselves on the back and discussed how creating strong community features has differentiated their platform from algorithmic-driven ones.

Substack still exists on the internet, of course, and no matter how positive and supportive an internet community may be, there will always be lunatics lurking in the dark corners.

For example, I found the following masterwork deep in the comments section of that post. A disinformation agent (writer?) also chose to celebrate the virtues of the Substack platform for all the wrong reasons.

Behold:

As a scientist who lost the right access to do a science, I see substack also as the very precious resource to SHARE NON-Corrupted Science, paid by NO INTERESTS GROUPS, no 'influencers' who derail the truth to a level where KILLINGS and genocide are becoming 'the new normal'.

As of press time, three “people” had liked this comment.

The takeaway? As always, stay frosty out there.

Author's Note: History has shown this was Substack's halcyon era.
